A Functional Capacity Evaluation (FCE) provides a comprehensive evaluation to properly identify and manage work-specific injuries.
The FCE measures strength, endurance, physical demand work level and positional tolerance. This helps to determine an injured employee’s functional capabilities quickly and accurately. This analysis helps the physical therapist determine:- Up to 27 different physical performance measures
- How frequently each physical activity can be performed
- Extent of injury
- Type of rehabilitation required
- Accurate return-to-work determination
