I am a new graduate physical therapist with special interests in orthopedic care, sports medicine, and pelvic health. As a student, I was able to receive specialized instruction in both pelvic health and sports medicine rehabilitation, and I have retained those interests. I am passionate about delivering quality, holistic care to all patients under our care. I spend my time outside of the clinic working as an adjunct professor for the physical therapy department at Mount Union, working out, playing recreational sports, watching rugby, and spending time with my wife and our dogs.

Rebecca Bell

Jaimie Adams, PT

Jaimie is an outpatient orthopedic physical therapist with a special interest in vestibular pathologies and balance impairments. She is vestibular certified through the Cleveland Clinic and is passionate about helping others during their rehabilitation journey. Jaimie is able to conduct aquatic treatments as well. Jaimie competed for 4 years on the Women’s Cross Country Team for Kent State University, serving as varsity captain in her senior season. She looks forward to working with you to achieve your therapy goals.

Jordyn Himmelman, PT

Jordyn is a licensed physical therapist who has experience treating patients across their lifespan in many areas of practice including orthopedics, sports medicine, pediatrics and vestibular rehabilitation. She received her vestibular and concussion certification in 2022 to enhance her practice and better treat her patients. She provides a total body approach to rehabilitation in which she educates patients on being an active participant in their recovery. When she isn’t in the clinic she loves spending time with her husband, their dog, family, and friends.

Jon Kern, PT

Jonathan is a licensed physical therapist who enjoys working with patients of all ages. He has experience in orthopedics, aquatic exercise therapy, balance training and dry needling. Jonathan implements different treatment techniques into patient care including manual therapy, modalities, patient education, and home exercise plans for patients to improve their function and achieve their goals. In his free time he enjoys being outdoors with his dogs, camping, kayaking, hiking, traveling and playing rugby.

Tim Banach, PT

Tim Banach is a licensed Physical Therapist with over 20 years of experience treating patients of all ages, with a wide variety of injuries and/or diagnoses. He specializes in vestibular/concussion therapy and rehabilitation, orthopedics, sports medicine, TMJ dysfunction, and Functional Capacity Evaluations. Tim is passionate about helping his patients stay active and healthy. Tim is an avid Cleveland sports fan, and enjoys watching his daughters play sports, reading, exercising, and traveling.

Stephanie Abbott, PTA

Stephanie is a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant. She graduated from Ashland University in 2011 with a Bachelors in Science degree in Physical Education, with a double minor in Coaching and Adapted Physical education. While at Ashland, Stephanie ran track as a sprinter and long jumper, and achieved 3 time All American status in the 4×100 relay and long jump. Stephanie completed her PTA degree at Remington College, where she graduated in 2019. Stephanie currently works in the outpatient physical therapy setting, and has experience treating a wide variety of populations including those seeking treatment for post operative rehab, aquatics, low back pain, postural awareness, balance training, return to sport/work and injury prevention. She is working towards getting OCS certified (Orthopedic Certified Specialist). 

Chris Kupczyk, PTA

Chris is a licensed PTA, and Broadview Heights Resident. He is a strong advocate of educating the patient on proper ergonomics and work and sports specifics for functional movements.

Alec Kiplinger, PTA

Alec is a Physical Therapist Assistant, and graduated from Cuyahoga Community College. Through his employment at Southwest, he has worked in multiple settings such as Acute Rehabilitation, Inpatient Rehabilitation and Cardiac Rehabilitation with his main focus in Outpatient Rehabilitation. Alec strives to challenge his patients with tailored therapeutic exercises to promote function and independence appropriate for each individual’s plan of care and personal goals.

Michelle Kern, PT

Michelle is a licensed physical therapist who specializes in orthopedics and pelvic health. She treats men, women and transgender patients suffering from pelvic pain, urinary and bowel dysfunction and other pelvic floor disorders. Additionally, she treats individuals experiencing pain and dysfunction during pregnancy and the postpartum period. Michelle received her training through the American Physical Therapy Association’s Academy of Pelvic Health. She is passionate about helping patients with these diagnoses improve their function and quality of life.
