At Southwest General, physical and occupational therapists from the Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Department work together to provide a comprehensive program for rehabilitation of all upper extremity injuries and conditions involving the hand, wrist, elbow or shoulder.

Outpatient Services to Restore Function

The Upper Extremity and Hand Rehabilitation program improves the quality of life for patients by providing the care and services needed to regain mobility and functionality lost as a result of injury or disease. Areas of specialization include, but are not limited to:
